This beautiful publication was created for the CEECC after a talk in commemoration of Dr. T. Burke given in Renvyle House Hotel in 2008 during Conamara Sea Week. The book discusses the role of natural history in present-day Ireland.
Printed on recycled paper and board, the book features specially commissioned nature prints by Sabine Springer and fine illustrations by the author including examples of plankton from the waters around Conamara.
Dr Cillian Roden is a botanist and ecologist who has a special interest in Conamara. He is also a lecturer in natural heritage at Galway Mayo Institute of Technology.
