Kylemore Abbey Concerts

Thanks to the generosity of Sr. Maura and the Benedictine Community at Kylemore Abbey, we are holding two concerts in their newly refurbished church.
On Saturday Oct 26th at 4pm a feast of music with the wonderful Sr. Karol’s Choir. As well as a fine choir Sr. Karol will be joined by special guests – flute player Plunkett O’Toole, soprano Annabella Lydon, Aedin Halpin and her daughter Rachel Moran on recorders.
Admission €10.
On Sunday Oct 27th at 8.00pm our concert features The Alan Kelly Gang with the amazing Scottish singer Eddi Reader. Eddi Reader (formerly lead singer with Fairground Attraction) is one of Scotland’s finest singers and her albums include ‘Love is theWay’, ‘Candyfloss and Medicine’ and ‘Angels and Electricity’. She will be joined on the night by her musical director and piano accordion maestro – the great Alan Kelly, Steph Geremia on vocals and flute, Ian Carr guitar and John Douglas singer/songwriter with strong Connemara roots whose song ‘Connemara’ was hugely successful.
