GREAT LINE-UP FOR UPCOMING SEA WEEK

A most exciting festival and line-up will include Julie Feeney – singer/song writer and performer extraordinare; Mairtin O’Connor – internationally acclaimed box player and music maestro; Blackie O’Connell – the wild and amazing piper from Doolin; Doug Allan – explorer/film maker, well known for his work on BBC’s Planet Earth with David Attenborough; Simon Berrow – marine biologist and founder member of the Irish Whale & Dolphin Group (see his ted talk on sharks); Michael O’Meara – chef/proprietor Oscars Restaurant Galway – Seafood Chef of the Year and an amazing photographer launching a massive book during Sea Week published by Artisan House Letterfrack; as well as amazing local talent The Kane Sisters; The Hernon Family; Johnny Connolly; Mat Keane; Luke Murray; Marie Walsh; Fiachra O’Regan; Johnny O’Halloran; Nathan Pilatzke; Gearoid Devaney plus a host of special guests.

This is just a taste of what is to come, more information will be available later – of course there will be the regular features including The After The Light Parade – the night time spectacular full of fire, myth and magic ; The Small Works Exhibition – featuring the work of established and emerging artists; Family Fun Day and The Killary Challenge.
